Xiaomi has confirmed that it will launch the Xiaomi Play smartphone on December 24th. It is rumored that this could be the Pocophone F1 variant for the Chinese market. And now the M1901F9T and M1901F9E models from Xiaomi have appeared on TENAA, and rather, they are the variants of the Xiaomi Play, which will become official next week.
The alleged Xiaomi Play measures 147.76 x 71.89 x 7.8 mm and weighs 150 grams. The smartphone is expected to come in multiple color options such as black, rose gold, gold, white, blue, red, pink, gray, silver and green. Xiaomi may not present all the color options at once.
The front panel has a 5.84 inch teardrop notch screen. It has Full HD + resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels.
The Xiaomi M1901F9T / M1901F9E smartphone is powered by an octa-core 2.3 GHz processor. There will most likely be variants with 32GB of storage + 3GB of RAM, 4GB of RAM + 64GB and 6GB of RAM + 128GB. For additional memory, there is a slot for microSD memory cards.
On the back of the smartphone, there is a dual camera with a main 12MP sensor. There is also a fingerprint scanner. The drop on the front houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
The smartphone is equipped with a 2900mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS.
So far, the prices for Xiaomi Play are unknown.
