About me

Spread the love

My name is Dana K. Park and I am the author of the blog sks-comp.ru. My team and I make guides to different countries based on personal experience. At the moment I live in Russia and Israel, but I am constantly moving to different countries. I’ve wanted to see the world all my life and I’ve always tried to travel somewhere at every opportunity. But I always catastrophically missed the standard 4-week vacation in a year to get enough to eat. It was especially difficult to travel spontaneously without a return ticket, that is, with my favorite travel format. Therefore, in 2010 I quit my job, started to travel and make up my own travel guides, which help newcomers to try to start traveling, and independent travelers to organize their trips.

I don’t have a goal to travel all over the world and I don’t want to like the number of countries visited. That’s why I can travel to the same places dozens of times (e.g. Thailand or Prague). I’m more interested in finding out what it’s like to live in a country than to gallop around Europe and see hundreds of attractions in one week. Currently, I have lived in Thailand (Samui, Phuket, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Hua Hin), Poland in Warsaw, China on the island of Hainan, Israel in Haifa, Russia in Moscow and Sochi. Just a long stay in a city (country) allows you to get to know them better, to walk and see different places, to visit cafes and restaurants without rush.

It helps to understand the country and its peculiarities. Among other things, I think it is very important to strive for your dreams, no matter how difficult they may seem. And I believe that everything is real! Of course, there are very different life situations, but you should still try. And there is no point in waiting for the ideal conditions when everything will work out by itself. I hope very much that on the pages of my blog you will find motivation and inspiration to start traveling, to start discovering yourself from other sides and to find the path of life that is closest to you. Take a walk through your personal blog posts.
